Your body has the ability to cleanse itself of annoying toxins, by incorporating these natural detoxifying foods into your diet:
Garlic

Fruit
Fruits are easy to digest and high in antioxidants, fiber, vitamins and nutrients. Since they have such a high liquid content, you body quickly absorbs all of their wonderful goodness into your system. The juicier the fruits the more your body will thank you! Gently cleanse your system with pears, bananas, strawberries, apples, berries, dates and figs and plums.
Citrus fruits
Citrus fruits are jammed pack with one of the best detox vitamins around, so that is why they get their own subheading. Lemons, oranges, grapefruits and limes contain enzymes that clean out your digestive tract and cleanse your liver. Drink a glass of warm water with lemon each morning.
Anything Omega-3
Avocados, extra virgin olive oil, flax seeds, etc.! Omega 3’s help to lube up your intestinal walls and help absorb harmful toxins.
Green veggies
Popeye was on to a good thing by trying to get us to eat our spinach everyday. Make sure you eat plenty of green leafy vegetables such as kale, spinach, arugula or wheatgrass. Chlorophyll won’t just boost your digestive tract but it will eliminate toxins.
Fresh produce detoxifies, by pulling the toxins out of your body and repopulating healthy gut bacteria and giving your body the nutrients, enzymes and phytonutrients that it needs to flourish.
Green tea
This healthy drink contains catechins, which promote healthy liver function by washing out any toxins. A win-win by anybody’s books!
Turmeric
This spice reduces inflammation caused by toxins, such as heavy metals. Plus it helps to cleanse the liver. One of the reasons turmeric is so beneficial is because it contains an active antioxidant called curcumin.
Yogurt
Look for yogurts that do not contain gelatin, as it needs to be added scalding hot, which kills off the probiotics. Make sure to read label, to check if it supplies a healthy dose of probiotics for your GI tract. These bacteria improve your digestion and boost your body’s immune system.
